It's time... Time to spread joy in the midst of a fearful world. Want to hear a true story? The receptionist in my local chiropractor's office shared that she had been repeatedly cursed at, even slandered on social media, simply for enforcing mask requirements in the office as required by her employer and local government agencies. Friends... a patient was so angry that she threw a pen at the receptionist's face! Regardless of preferences regarding mask-wearing, it's our RESPONSE to the people around us during these times that will testify to a lost world what we truly believe in our hearts. When the world responds in exasperation, fear, and anger, Christians have the opportunity to respond with the radical kindness of Christ. I created a set of "Kindness Cards" so we can reach out to the people around us and be a LIGHT in the darkness. Maybe give one to your pastor, a friend battling cancer, the grocery store checker, or a nurse at your local hospital! Oh, and if you happen to visit your local chiropractor's office, it's possible the receptionist could use an encouraging word. ;-) Sisters, will you join me? It's time to put off fear and

All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. Psalm 25:10 (ESV) Have you found yourself heading down a wrong path in life and feeling like everything is spinning out of control? Is there no one you can turn to for help to get back where you know you should be? This verse gives hope! Having a personal relationship with the Lord, and following His paths, will give you the peace and guidance you desire. God’s steadfast love and faithful care for those who love and obey Him brings great joy to our lives. The word testimony means ‘that which He, God, has declared to be true’. We find those truths in God’s Word, the Bible! Those who live by what God has said to be true will know the great love and mercy He gives to those who keep his testimonies. Won’t you choose today to follow His way, to study His Word and find out where His path will lead? You will be filled with His love and a peace you’ve never known before! Love through Affliction | Psalm 31:7

I will rejoice and be glad in Your steadfast love, because You have seen my affliction; You have known the distress of my soul… Psalm 31:7 (ESV) Precious friend, have you lost a loved one to death, been through a traumatic time in your marriage or had children who were rebellious? These and many other issues are what we call ‘affliction’, which in the Hebrew is defined as ‘poverty or misery’. If you have been in a situation such as this, you have known the misery and distress of your soul, as David describes in this verse. God delivered David from many difficult circumstances and David knew he could continue to depend on God because of His steadfast love. God had seen David’s trouble and shown His love through the affliction, which brought David much joy! Won’t you trust God to tenderly care for your distressed soul? His steadfast love for you will bring great joy to your heart as you continue to put your trust in the Lord and grow more spiritually mature through the trials of life.
