Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn Your commandments. Those who fear You shall see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in Your word. Psalm 119:73-74 (ESV)

Does it fill you with awe and wonder to realize you were made by the power of God?

He created us in His own image in such a marvelous way.  The psalmist is asking for discernment and insight from the One who made him so that he might learn God’s commands and become more like Him.

The Hebrew word for fear means “to be in awe or reverence of someone.” Do you have reverence for the One who made you?

Let’s choose each day to study God’s word, so we may learn to know and obey Him as the Holy Spirit convicts our hearts.

As we do that, our awe of Him will grow, and we will be filled with joy because of the hope we find in His word.

May each one of us reflect more each day the image of God!
